    Energy Star is a joint program of the EPA and the Department of Energy whose mission is to help consumers save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices. An Energy Star home from Braddock & Logan is designed to exceed the State’s energy efficiency standards for residential building by at least 15% and may include other features that can make them 20-30% more energy efficient than typical homes. This can add up to thousands of dollars of savings for each homeowner.

•High efficiency heating, ventilation & AC systems with environmentally responsible refrigerant keeps the home comfortable while guarding against global warming.

•Use of sealed ducts with R-6 insulation that are pressure-balanced to improve efficiency. Furnace is blower tested to ensure unfiltered air and contaminants are not drawn in.

•ENERGY STARÒ rated dishwasher and bathroom fans.

• Insulation that is made from 75% recycled materials.

•All Braddock & Logan Green Communities recycle or reuse 50% or more of waste materials and have low water use landscaping.
